  I started attending Throop in January of this year while church shopping in Pasadena. I never bothered visiting another one after my experience there. I was welcomed immediately, given opportunities to be involved with classes and programs, and was generally given the impression that my presence was welcomed every single week.
  
  The sermons are fascinating and challenging, the new music program shows promise of being one of the best I've seen, and the minister and religious educator are both friendly and available on a regular basis.
